THE INVENTOR

. The Latimat was invented in 1991 by Douglas Latimer and has been used by mobile wash businesses all around the world. The US Military, well known airlines, railroads, USDAF, USCG and NASA have also utilized products from LATIMAT. In 2005, they were awarded the NASA contract for the cleaning and containment of the Saturn V Rocket at the Johnson Space Center located in Houston, Texas.

Douglas R. Latimer has dedicated years of his life to the containment industry. He was the original inventor of the Latimat Wash Pad. Starting at a young age, Douglas has been washing trucks, inventing products and researching what it takes to create a reliable and efficient product since 1968. It is guaranteed there is not a more experienced person you could be buying your products from.
